Delete your TIPPA account
Last updated: 3 October 2026
TIPPA is provided by JPH Ltd. You can delete your TIPPA account at any time, in the app or by emailing us. It’s the same account on the web, iPhone and Android, so deleting it once deletes it everywhere.
In the app
- Sign in to TIPPA.
- Open the settings menu (the cog at the top of the screen) and choose Profile. If you’re a driver, scroll to the bottom of your home screen instead.
- Choose Delete Account (drivers: Delete my account) and confirm.
If you’re the only person in your organisation, deleting your account deletes the organisation too, and you’ll be asked to type its name to confirm. If you’re its only administrator but others are still in it, make one of them an administrator first, so the organisation isn’t left without one.
We email you to confirm once it’s done.
If you can’t sign in
Email privacy@tip-pa.co.uk from the email address on your account, asking us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm it’s you before we do. We’ll delete it within one month and let you know.
What’s deleted
- your name, email address and password;
- your passkeys, two-factor authentication and backup codes;
- your links to Google and Apple sign-in (we also tell Apple to end your Sign in with Apple for TIPPA);
- your saved settings, and every device you were signed in on;
- your place in your organisation.
What’s kept
The waste records you made (receipts, collections, waste movements and returns) belong to your organisation, not to your account, so they stay with it if it carries on. If your organisation added you as a driver, it keeps the details it entered about you, no longer linked to an account.
If your organisation is deleted as well, its waste transfer records are kept, archived and out of sight in the app, for the period UK waste duty of care law requires (at least two years), and everything else is deleted straight away. Our payment provider, Paddle, keeps its own records of any payments, as the law requires of it. See section 5 of our Privacy Policy for more on how long we keep data.
Want a copy first?
You can download your own account data from Profile, and an administrator can download the organisation’s from Organisation Settings → Manage Organisation, before deleting anything.
